Power issues, down trees, water

water chlorination has now stopped . in September there was a temporary water boil order in the city of Brainerd. The water started to be chlorinated and when all test showed no bacteria the order was lifted.

Thursday, September 4, 2014 Brainerd MN and surrounding area there were reports of electrical power issues, street flooding, and down trees in Brainerd area brought by storms early Thursday morning.

Water was out earlier in parts of city of Brainerd due to lightning strike to the water main at the pump house and the main water tower was out of commission due to repairs. Please conserve water in city of Brainerd.. Customers were under a boil water order which has now been lifted.

The City of Baxter is NOT under a boil water order.
Central Lakes College reopened
Watch out for and stay away from down trees, power lines, flooding.
Report hazardous conditions to law enforcement that they aren't aware of.
Report down power lines to power company.
