Relive the thrill and romance of the Roaring 20’s when the American Barnstormers Tour visits the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport July 15, 16, and 17.
Get up close and personal to 10 vintage aircraft of the 20’s and 30’s, and visit with the costumed pilots and crew. Model T cars complete your journey into the past. If you are really adventurous you can even purchase a ride in one of these vintage open cockpit biplanes. (rides are $80)
Every afternoon thrill to the aerobatics of Mike Rinker in his vintage 1932 Travel Air biplane. Sunday includes an airport open house, showcasing the people and equipment that keeps your airport open 24/7/365.
Best of all, this event is FREE to the public. thanks to the generosity of numerous local sponsors, parking, shuttle to the gate, and admission is all FREE.
